    What's the diagnosis for the issues on the 24? I don't think you can blanket statement the 24 being defective is no diagnosis, because you had an issue with your 22. 32k miles on my '22 diesel denali.     Have her hit the onstar button to run a diagnosis on the CEL. Depending on your location/climate, during winter 1000 is normal for me in the Michigan cold

    How is the engine shot exactly? Make sure the dealer gives you a loaner during the extent of the repair/replacement. Ask for extended warrenty to 6yr/100k
