I have 33 x 11ish (not sure the exact width, I’d have to do the tire size conversion to figure it out) with a 3 1/2” lift and 1” spacers on stock wheels and I get a little rubbing with wheels cranked and im backing out of my driveway or something and hit a dip or back off a curb. Basically only...
This weekend, trans started slipping and going into random gears so rpms were all over the place. It didn't overheat, the temp was at about 190 to 200 on average but when the random shifting thing happened the temp climbed really quick. I stopped and had it towed home yesterday and looked at my...
I had this same issue....It's air in the system causing the temp variation. It would never burp on its own for me, even with the front driver wheel elevated. What I had to do was first replace thermostat. Then then I filled the upper hose from the thermostat hose that connects to the radiator...
Yesterday I got new tires. Today I added 1.25inch spacers until I can get new wheels. Gives it a more aggressive look and keeps my new tires from rubbing on my new upper control arms. So now it's has the 3.5" lift up front. 3" in the back. 33" tires.
Here it is! LT175/70 r18 tires with 1.25" spacers all around on the stock wheels to give it a little more aggressive look and to keep the tires from rubbing on the new uca's
I'm looking for some fender flares for my suburban and am wondering if anyone has these or similar ones that will fit? If not, I wonder how much modding would be involved to make these work?
I'm going to put new tires on my suburban. I have a 3" leveling kit on front and 3.5 on back. I want the biggest tire I can fit with little to no trimming. I have read that's a 33"? What width tire should I get for the stock rims. That will stick out maybe an inch or so but nothing too dramatic...
I installed new upper control arms to go with my lift in front. I'm not sure if they should be this close to the frme when the tires are down or is that just the nature of it with the lift? Or did I not install them right? Or will it be resolved when I get an alignment?
Thanks for the reply. Suburban is the same as lifting the tahoe or yukon for these model years. Same kits work. I do offroad quite a bit, which is why I want the lift. So it sounds like it would probably be better just to do upper control arms and stuff too. So If I want to keep a little rake...
I want to lift my 2015 Suburban. I think 3.5" at the most since I dont think that will require any major cutting for drop brackets etc. I want 32 or 33" tires. My question is for that little of lift should I do anything other than top and bottom strut spacers in front (2.5" top and 1" bottom)...
So I took it to a mechanic and they told me that "they hooked it up to there machine and it had a hydrocarbon level in the 80's which tells them that it has a cracked head gasket or cylinder head" does that sound right? Or should I get a second opinion? I don't have antifreeze in my oil and am...
Had it for about 6 months. I've put about 10k miles on it. It just recently (within the last 1.5 months) started heating up. I changed the thermostat because it would never heat up past about 1/4 of the guage. Happened after I changed my thermostat and water pump pulley (it was chattering). It...
Alright, I had a little time today so I hooked up my Bluetooth obd adapter and drove around for an hour. Pulled up the coolant temp in torque. After it warms up it runs most of the time at between 215 and 220 degrees. I got up to 237 twice. Each time I was accelerating to get on the highway...
