They do remove all pieces and paint them independently, looks like they taped the window trim as it has some defects that aren’t that noticeable unless you’re starting at it up close
I have the weathertech guards under the car seats that are thick plastic and I was worried about them melting or something. I’m not sure if they turn off when the key is pressed but I haven’t double checked that.
Any ideas on how to physically disable rear heated seats? I use car seats so I don’t want them to turn on but I want to use the auto front heated seats on cold days when I auto start from the house.
I paid $5k over and still love the rig, most lots in houston didn’t have inventory or the ones they did have were without adaptive cruise or wireless charging etc. I got my Denali fully loaded with everything but start and stop. Such is life.
One thing we can all agree on is that it doesn’t look like this!!! https://gmauthority.com/blog/2021/12/2022-chevy-tahoe-gets-new-evergreen-gray-metallic-color-first-look/
Definitely different colors based on the camera, angles, the lighting, whether the chrome is there or blacked out, totally agree that it can look very different. After living with it for a week or so, it’s dark green grey more often than not.
Yes, it’s dark gray green blue depending on the light. I think it’s a great color, I’ve always had black vehicles which are hard to keep clean and this got me close without being black on black.
I’ve seen it once on a lot, didn’t snap a pic, doesn’t look anything like online in my opinion, to me and my wife it looked purplish brownish, I’d definitely look for one nearby to see the color before ordering it. I thought I wanted it too in the suburban but seeing it quickly changed my mind...
It was odd for sure, the Tahoe was a little dirty, we were on the lot in a Sunday, and it wasnt a bright sunny day, but the color was not what I was expecting at all.
I just bought one today at $5k over plus $2k in dealer add ons. From what I can tell there is no negotiating, if they have inventory it is flying off the shelf so they aren’t making any deals. Said they’d take care of me on the trade in but it wasn’t anything special.
I’ve seen many dark sky’s in person and they look great but as others said, it’s only on 2021. I’m buying hunter metallic as it’s the only non white or black or red color on the 2022 Yukon’s that I think looks good.
Have you seen dark ash? I saw it on a Tahoe for the first time this weekend and it looked brownish purple. Nothing like online. Wasn’t for me so thought I would throw that out there!
Just posted a deposit a week ago, now has a VIN so going in for the paperwork. 2022 hunter metallic Yukon xl Denali, I’ll post pics when I get it. Light interior, ultimate package. Sticker was around 87k, they want 1800 for the basic dealer stuff and 5k markup. I’m working on negotiating those...
Mine is having the same issue except mine is a rental and I’m in the middle of nowhere Nebraska. I wish your dealer had some suggestion on how to fix, we have a packed car and not sure how we’ll get back to the airport with this seat not working!!
