    Great comments and rec’s from everyone. I found a 4-row all aluminum 2-3/8” wide aftermarket radiator that looks really attractive. With all hoses, thermostat and other bits replaced, wouldn’t this be the best cooling option?

    55mph on the backroads. I tried wicking it up once we hit the interstate, but that's where the temp hit 235, and I backed off to 50-55 again. It doesn't have an oil cooler that I can find/see, but that would be a good idea...is there an aftermarket kit to add one?

    I talked to a friend, who said 'don't worry about it'...that 235 is safe to run. Even if so, the thermostat has always been my mental governor for appropriate engine temps, and I'm inclined to get it back to 210-212 if at all possible.

    Yes I’m still getting the msg. I measured 4.3-4.4ohm across one of them, so the appears to be something there. What info would that device give back, other than ‘the shock is there’? I bought these cheaply, mostly to test the system and see if everything worked once the bags could hold air...
