Remote Start AP8 Questions/Issues. Lights flash but won’t turn over.

Also if your lights flash, and you hear the fuel pump prime with no start, it Could mean you have a check engine(or pending check engine light)

    Rear Brakes

Oh it killed me, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why I couldn't get the caliper back on, finally just took a break and went to watch youtube videos, and sure enough apparently this is a common error

    Rear Brakes

Also make sure your pads are on correctly, there is an inside and outside pad. Whoever had done mine previously(before I owned it) put them on incorrectly, Shape wise they fit, but there are rivets on the backside that hit the piston(if it's on the wrong side)

The 4.8 thing is just a drop down menu(they use a similar system here in NC.) EVAP Systems not ready mean you have recently reset a check engine light, and it hasn't gone through enough cycles/elapsed time. it's like 75-100 miles or somewhere in there.

2014 SSV has cruise control but doesn’t work

all my lights worked fine as well, I got to thinking, I'd make sure that it actually came with cruise control, and someone didn't just swap a steering wheel. someone here will know how to run the RPO codes in the glove box.

2014 SSV has cruise control but doesn’t work

My cruise control went out when my brake switch(on the pedal) was bad. Replaced the switch and all was good. I believe it was throwing a code, but no check engine light shows. so if you are able to pull codes(most parts stores can pull them if you need)

So I shop on wish . com got me a $0.75 LED bar(one of those limited time deals) ... So I don't like how they look mounted outside the bumper so I put it behind the grill, it just happened that the mount they provide fit exactly the holes on a metal bar. I think it'll work well, slightly aimed...

Flipkey(sorry the term was wrong) the Folding key fob that many newer cars(and escalade) come with, the smart key holder, holds the car key and my house keys, cleans up my keychain.

In a previous car of mine, folks made MIL eliminators for the cats, basically a resistor pack that would alter the signal from the o2 sensor. Does anyone do that on yuks and hoes? I guess in Cali you'd probably get arrested for that... ;)

Oooh Rear brakes(powerstop), since stopping on the backing plates isn't the best idea. Also adjusted parking brake while i was in there, yay I can park finally ;) The Tools I used.... BTW key tools 13mm socket, 20mm open end or vicegrips if you are like me and can't find your 20(if you own one)...

Finished up a nice labor day NC to DC round trip, averaged 17.5(18.9 on the way up) anyway it's not about the MPG.. but it's nice to know it's not 13. Need rear brakes next, that's for this weekend, I imagine I can make the rest of the week of commute(8miles) on the backing plate ;)

Changed the oil.... this time didn't use any flush, pulled the plug, no oil, hole was blocked with sludge. yay! wiggled a screwdriver in there, all came out fine after that. Will flush next weekend I guess... Still running fine. I'd pull the pan if it wasn't such a pain.
