Yeah I've had a couple gallons of coolant and distilled water in the back for months because I knew about it and I've been planning to figure out what's going on. Haven't had a chance it's been raining every weekend here just about.
It actually was so long that the two and a half gallon jug of...
I'm pretty sure my Cold Case has been leaking for maybe a good 6 months at this point. Also not sure exactly where yet. I think it's somewhere right in the center and down low potentially. I need to pull the bumper one of these days and find it before summer kicks off.
Only reason I've been...
I've also had a trans tune on mine for at least 70,000 miles that chirps second on my 33 inch mud terrains.
So I have not been nice to my drivetrain. Lol
Another fun one.
During the morning commute I started hearing a noise, couldn't tell what is was. On the way home, it got much louder...started diagnosing on the drive. Sure enough, found the original u-joint looking unhappy. Nicely drove to the parts store for a new one and back.
Couldn't get...

Well, my driver seat foam and cover are really starting to show their age now. The bottom is getting ugly and I can see some of the foam...and also just uncomfortable now.
Suppose I need to start shopping for covers and foams.
I ended up painting mine silver with steel-it after I got them. The black clashed with the silver wheel to me.
But the black on black is the way to go.
Well, BB tunes I'm sure do not come with a carb E.O. Sticker/Number, so that gives me hope for my trans tune and oversized tires this next go around. Last time I waited till the last minute to get the smog done so I didn't want to dick around and I put the stock tune back on to ensure that I...
I've run mine on (nearly exclusively) e85 for the last 83,000mi. Never had a cat code on this vehicle. But I did have that o2 sensor issue where the computer reads the ethanol content far lower than it is and it throws a lean code.
But they were aftermarket sensors that works properly for a year...
Haha yeah, ended up driving around for a while in four-wheel drive and letting the front tires pull me. Still haven't taken it apart to figure out what actually broke. But I messed with torque management too much and it shifted into second so hard and apparently the tires had enough traction...
I did get the whole set of lines.
And just over a year ago now, I broke the 8.6 and got a 9.5 out of a Cadillac and put it in.
Literally everything bolted and connected right up.... Now that I think about it, I may have left all of the rear brake lines from the 8.6 on the truck when I dropped...
Did the rear brakes.
Only things I haven't touched on the brake system yet would be master cylinder, ABS unit, and hard lines
Post in thread 'Finally posting a "build" thread. The progression of my stupidity.'...
Got the new raybestos e3 Calipers - Specialty Police Pads - High Carbon Rotors, and Powerstop Braided Brakelines on the rear.
My goodness those lines from the frame to the rear end are hard to access. Ended up dropping the spare, removing my tailpipe, and moving some emissions equipment just to...
