    Well, I popped in a new mirror switch today, and no good. I tested all of the wires running into the harnesses, and the only one that shows 12v is the double black wire at the end of the door lock switch. That seems odd to me...

    I just picked up a console, and front and rear seats from a wrecked Z-71 for my 2002 Tahoe SSV. However, they would not sell me the extension. I bitched enough that they didn't include it, that gave me half off. Now, my options are to try and find the extension, or find a cover (if they exist)...

    SSV option with rear drums

    It's not trademarked, so have at it. I will say, they are bigger than my Camaro's Brembos. Truck stops surprisingly well for it's weight.

    I do now. LOL It's tough to tell online, and I'm enough forums to know there's always at least one keyboard commando. Back to the truck, looks like the rotors and pads are different. Many shops have "except Police" in the description.

    Knock yourself out, if it makes yoi feel better. I bought it through a friend, and didn't see the brakes in person until today. I was told they were drums, and the only pic I had was the one above.

    Well, now that I actually got eyes on the truck, it does have rear disc. The discs are so large, I assumed they were drums from the pictures.

    Yeah, I missed that on the first run through. I'll have to find a stamping on the rear end to see if a "brake-to-brake" rear end was tossed in.

    I just picked up a 2002 Tahoe with the 5WR SSV package. I was surprised to see it came with rear drums. It also has the Heavy duty towing option. Is it possible the entire rear end was replaced, or this normal for the package? Link to build sheet...
