    Second time for bad coil pack

    My 2017 Tahoe again had a flashing cel and developed a bad idle and loss of power. Brought it to the dealer who replaced #5 coil pack. The dealer explained how unusual it is since I am the only customer with these issues.

    Noise

    I have finally found the noise. It is the dual tip exhaust extension. I went back to the muffler shop who did the installation and they removed it and installed a single exhaust tip.Apparently they have received some complaints about the noisy tip.

    Lately I am hearing a loud squeeling/screeching noise under hard acceleration only. no difference in performance,air cconditioner works fine.could be a pulley or serpintine belt? I sprayed wd40 and let it sit overnight,no difference. when I bring it in for my first free oil change soon...

    Exhaust tips

    deleting the resonator and adding the dual tip looks better and has a slightly lower sound only. I was hoping for a significantly lower sound. did not happen. BTW, we tried to add another tailpipe off the existing muffler to the drivers side, impossible!!!!!

    I also recently purchased a z71 midnight. The salesman explained that the Tahoes shipped with digital gauges do not have the logo on the tach anymore.
