    finally got my truck back and what difference. went ahead and had the transmission checked out and was starting to show the signs of parts wearing out. Went ahead and had it rebuilt and added the TC.

    have 97K and still on original brakes. had the truck serviced and report showed it was down to the last 4 mm on the brakes. just want to replace to be on the safe side and if i can put something better on it since i intend to keep it.

    i like the lifetime warranty-might just buy the rotors and research the brake pads. a ceramic only pad is the better option with the slotted and drilled rotor?

    My Yukon is more of a family hauler/ daily driver but i do have the 22 inch wheels. I usually am in the opinion of better to have and not need it, then need it and not have it. All the threads i have been reading seem to be stating to me that the daily driver powerstop kit z23 is more than enough.

    Replaced bypass valve and just ordered circle D TCC with factory stall. checked fluid and still red. Will do another filter flush at same time...

    Thank you for the advice. another question? Do those alum transmission pans that have the cooling fins work? I like that they come with a drain plug. Almost seems like its worth the investment with that.

    Thinking I'm also on borrowed time as well as i have noticed a slight shudder and it does not happen all the time. Is the PPE version better than just gm version. i did not like seeing my transmission temp be in the 190's in 30 degree weather. Im only at 96K miles...
