    Rear brake light out......sometime

Tonyv_: A few questions if you don't mind..... 1. Did you have the light issue with both rear lights or just one. 2. What did you use to open the area(s) of the the light that required soldering? Hot knife? Soldering gun? 3. Did you use a copper wire to connect (solder) the two parts of the...

    Rear brake light out......sometime

The issue I referenced in my earlier post has now progressed to the point where neither of my rear brake lights work when the temp is in the 90s. Since my last post I have found out about the extended warranty (72 months) GMC has put in place to address this design defect. I'm taking the Yukon...

    Wireless Charging

I own a 2016 Yukon Denali with wireless charging in the center console lid. I've searched multiple forums looking for an answer to my question with zero success. My question: Has anyone that owns a 2016 GM Tahoe/Yukon with wireless charging in the center console lid been successful charging a...

Wireless charger and 115v AC outlet not working

AngeloUCF: What year is your Tahoe/Yukon? I have a 2016 Yukon Denali. I'm trying to get the wireless charger on the center console to work with my Samsung S21. What kind of cell phone do you use? I've got multiple suggested solutions but haven't confirmed that anyone has the same vehicle they...

    Strange Brake Light Issue

Did you have the same daytime (doesn't work) /night time (does work) issue? I understand how a broken circuit that can be resoldered can cause the rear light failure. I'm having a difficult time understanding how a broken circuit that can be resoldered can cause this intermittent issue.

    Rear brake light out......sometime

2016 GMC Yukon Denali. 52,000 miles. I've read extensively regarding the rear tail light issues many 2015 and 2016 Yukon Denali owners have experienced. Mine seems to be a little different. At night the brake lights work perfectly. During the day only the passenger side rear brake light works...

    Tire mileage

I tried the search function but didn't find any info. I'm new to the Yukon world. My 2016 Denali (22" wheels) is the first I have owned. Checking tire tread depth (5/32) and mileage (36,000 miles) I anticipate needing new tires around 50,000 miles. I understand the many variables that affect...

Blindspot Warning indicator on sometimes when no vehicle there?

My Yukon Denali does the exact thing when I'm pulling my enclosed motorcycle trailer. My best guess is the proximity sensors are picking up some part of the trailer ie: the polished aluminum rock guard on the front of the trailer or the polished aluminum fenders. That's my best guess however I...

    87 octane vs 91 octane

If cost is a concern check out Costco/BJ/Sams Club. They only sell 87 and 93. In most cases their 93 is less expensive than the traditional brand name gas companies 91. Just a suggestion.

    Denali Personal Settings

The underlying assumption that appears to have created the confusion surrounding recall of personal settings issue is that "what applies to the 2015 Yukon Denali (the redesign year) applies to the 2016 and later models." That does not appear to be the case. If you read the 2015 Yukon Denali...

    Denali Personal Settings

So far it appears the total number of people that own a 2015 or newer Yukon Denali with your setup is one. Believe me when I say I would very much like to own one.

Rocket Man:Yes I have a manual. If the information was clearly stated we wouldn't be having this conversation. dbbd1: Thanks for taking the time to respond. CDN17 BURBAN: That's the way mine works and that's the way the dealer indicated to me it should work. Thanks for the input. See...

    Denali Personal Settings

Not sure what you mean by "You have exit settings with your key fob." The exit settings are set using the exit setting button on the door and are independent of which key fob is present (#1 or #2). Your seat/steering wheel/pedals move from the exit settings to the settings assigned to the key...

    Denali Personal Settings

We have a winner. Bill L you are 100% correct. I was at my dealer yesterday and decided to get to the bottom of this mystery. While in the past (prior to 2015) unlocking the vehicle with a key FOB may have triggered the personal settings, it doesn't in the 2015 and up models. The personal...

    Denali Personal Settings

That is the way you set the personal settings. My question is do the seats, mirrors, etc. move to the preset personal positions when the vehicle is unlocked with a key FOB or do you have to manually press the corresponding numbered button on the door after unlocking the vehicle with a key FOB to...

    Denali Personal Settings

I haven't found an answer to the following question from a credible source so I have decided to turn to the forum experts that actually have experience. I've owned GM products for more than 25 years. All of my Pontiac Bonneville SSeis and Envoy Denalis had personal settings for the seats...

6.2 vs 5.3, Significant power difference?

I road tested both the 5.3 and 6.2. Noticeable power difference between the 2. Gas mileage is rated as 1mpg difference. As far as burning premium, the owners manual states 91 octane. Do the math. You'll be surprised how few dollars the regular to premium difference represents.

    NnB from S.E. PA

Not new to the Denali world or SUV world but definitely new to the Yukon Denali world. Took delivery of a 2016 Yukon Denali (sparkling silver metallic) demo with 2100 miles on it last Tuesday after several months/years of researching. Very satisfied with the deal I got. Love the color. New to the Yukon world.

I'm new to the forum and will soon be new to the Yukon world. I've got my sights set on a 2016 Denali with the 6.2L V8. The only consistent criticizm of the vehicle I have heard from multiple owners is "the lack of throttle response" especially when the motor transitions from 4 to 8 active...
