I know I'm coming into this late, but did you get the HID situation figured out?

Possible to add transmission temp gauge? (ATTN: Those who've taken clusters apart)

No. You wouldn't have to program anything. My truck is a 2003 NBS. .

Possible to add transmission temp gauge? (ATTN: Those who've taken clusters apart)

The temp sensor and wiring are already there. They don't include the gauge in the cluster though. If you get the Escalade cluster conversion, it comes standard with the trans temp gauge along with all of the other upgrades. That's what I did.

LED Tail Light Re-Wiring so Both Sets stay on (How To)

Yes: I have. And I believe I've answered all of your questions already. What more do you need to know? That's not necessary at all. This mod is very easy and quite modular once you understand how to jump the relays (always jump the relays - not the fuses). It's the cheapest, quickest, easiest...

    No you do not.

    Tahoe Side Mirror MOD

I had mine wired to my blinkers only. You can do both, but you're going to have to tap into the bake circuit as well, using diodes on one of the circuits. It can be done though. Yes.

    Tahoe Side Mirror MOD

Yeah, there's a thread about it around here somewhere. You're going to be using side emitting LED strips, which are really thin (you can get them on eBay cheap). First: you take the entire mirror off, then you pop out the glass (it's held in by clips). Clean the surface really well. Apply...

    Tahoe Side Mirror MOD

It's a cool, cheap and easy mod. My above links are dead, but here you go: Video here: I did that under $15 and under 30 minutes. Perfect sync. Very bright. .

DIY: High Flow Stock Airbox (Swiss Cheese Mod)

No. It's too close to the front and the wheel well. It's an awesome, free mod. I did it and loved it.......and I'm in Florida.

How To: 99-02 Hi 6 with Diagram

Yeah, don't use wire, use diodes to control the relays. Using plain wire is going to cause the relays to go haywire (just like you're describing). It will also stretch & bend the contacts, which will make the relay lose contact with the fuse box (which will also cause the issue you're...

LED Tail Light Re-Wiring so Both Sets stay on (How To)

Tap the running lights into the brake/blinker lights with a diode and vice-versa. That should do the trick.

How to do the 4 or 6 high mod on an 03-06 full size truck for $3.00

You just have to pull 'em out of there. You're not going to break anything. There's no special way of doing it. I used pliers.

How to do the 4 or 6 high mod on an 03-06 full size truck for $3.00

Yeah, it's not rocket science. You just have to understand how diodes and relays work. Also: Don't forget that you can splice into another lighting circuit with regular wire. Just make sure the circuits have the same amperage and you're good.

How to do the 4 or 6 high mod on an 03-06 full size truck for $3.00

You can jump the relay terminals with diodes. I converted my DRLs to Amber running lights and covered my photo cell - on top of the full time fog mod. Now I have full time, full auto: Lows, Running lights (w/Amber DRLs), Projectors, and Halos (w/leds) that I wired to the running lights and...

I have to go to bed, but bump this thread again (reply to this post) and I'll show you how to do it my way (all out) tomorrow.

How to do the 4 or 6 high mod on an 03-06 full size truck for $3.00

If you just want your fogs on w/ your lows, then you don't even need to do the 6-Hi mod. Just jump your relays, or tap your fog wiring into your lows.

I did the "Full Auto 8-High Mod" (I engineered it myself). There should be a DIY post in this thread where I walked someone through it (you can see my "Automatic, instant on" lights in my avatar).

Yes. You're correct. I apologize. Here are the specs: http://www.optimabatteries.com/us/en/products/yellowtop/ IMO: Make your own Big 3 kit and forget the Capacitor (unless you really want it). GL with everything!

Optima. Hands Down. I would get a Red top (for dual purpose). No need for capacitor.

It's the Plastic Cover Panel. I don't think it has any special search name. It's just the (location) cover panel.
