First year model peace of mind

yea I agree. My 2016 Denali has been my only GM truck I’ve had any issues with, and they were all stupid electrical ones. I agree on the last gen about regretting trading it in. I drove my 2011 Burb for 85k mikes with absolutely zero issues... Not one

New Rig Needed. Z71 Burb vs Yukon Denali XL

Hey all. Every 3 years for the last decade I’ve leased either a Tahoe, Burb, and most recently a Yukon Denali. I owned a lot of cars and trucks and I still love these things .. cant beat the room, comfort, reliability and true utility they offer (a real damn suv). This time around I’m looking...

Rear trailing arm snapped on my two week old Yukon Denali. Pics and story

I took a buddy of mine who is a very experienced professional mechanic to the dealer yesterday to see the truck... He thought it was very strange that the arm would break off like that, even from a curb hit or pothole. We spoke to the manager in detail and he was unfortunately not a lot of help...

Rear trailing arm snapped on my two week old Yukon Denali. Pics and story

Just got a call from service... Told me that they have determined that the damage is not a "GM warranty issue" and to contact my insurance company... And here we go!

Rear trailing arm snapped on my two week old Yukon Denali. Pics and story

Went and saw the service manager this morning.. He basically said, "The big boss needs to take a look at this one, We'll keep you updated" Really hoping this doesn't turn into a debacle but I'm confident GM will resolve this properly. Will keep you updated.

Rear trailing arm snapped on my two week old Yukon Denali. Pics and story

Ah. I see that now. Very strange. Assuming the tire was flat when she drove off, how could that damage to the arm occur at low speed a block away?

Rear trailing arm snapped on my two week old Yukon Denali. Pics and story

My first thought was that she he hit a curb, but quickly realized there are no curbs in this neighborhood.. I'm thinking maybe the sharp part of the arm that broke off punctured the tire, but I'll know more in the morning when I go back to the dealer to take a closer look.

Rear trailing arm snapped on my two week old Yukon Denali. Pics and story

Wife was making a right turn at about 5 mph leaving her mothers house today and heard a loud noise from under the car and said the car started shaking and making noise. Was loud enough to wake up and upset our newborn daughter in the rear car seat. She pulled over because she thought she must...

22" Stock Yukon Denali Wheel question

These wheels are starting to grow on me. I think I'm going to keep them. You're right in that I don't think I've seen too many Denali's with these wheels, and the ck163's seem to be pretty common as well. Goin to take my time to decide what color (if any) to powdercoat them. I agree 100% about...

22" Stock Yukon Denali Wheel question

Hey everyone, Just picked up a 2016 Yukon Denali. It was the only black one they had in stock and it was fully loaded. It's my 2nd Yukon and I already love it. The only thing I don't love about the car are the 22" Chrome 6 spoke wheels. I like the shape of the wheels themselves, just not a fan...
