Fluctuating voltage gage
Fluctuating voltage gage, sometimes at 14 then drops to 12. Do these alternators charge as needed or should they be charging 14 + all the time.- Dixieman

feeling knocking or rattling through steer column 04 Tahoe. 2WD
I checked the knuckle at the end of the steering shaft, a little movement but not enough to make me think that is the problem. Seems to lessen after driving a while. Front shocks are very worn. Feels and sounds like it is on the drivers side. Anybody familiar with this.- Dixieman

Towing 18ft boat (3500lbs total)
Towing 18ft boat(3500lb load), I have an 2004 Tahoe now with a 5.3 and I don't think any less motor could comfortablel pull it. Looking at 2016 and 17s now. With 6spd trans, do you think smaller motor 4.3l could pull this rig on flat land and about 1 or 2 160miles round trips a month- Dixieman
