    Hmmm, you're right. The scanner says temps are 194-199 while running. Ok so why intermittent catalyst codes? Is it really bad or could there be anything else to look for. All four o2 sensors are new.

    The 98 is doing great. Only issue (well besides the minor ignorable ones) is it has recently started squeaking on startup. See video. Anyone know what that is?

    I looked under the hood today, it looks like the bolt head is missing between 6 & 8. Must be exhaust leak.

    I had it in the transmission shop a few times this year... They jacked up the flange on the exhaust, maybe their manhandling could have caused something? I'll check the bolts next time I'm under there. TOO COLD IN FL THIS WEEK! brr But lets say it is a lifter dying... I want to do the AFM...

    So I have the records, The prev owner got a new starter on 8-3-21 and 149,577. Its now 179k. He probably got a cheap one from the shop that did it. Well I guess if youre 150% sure, I will order one.
