Heater on driver side while ac is on full blast

You should not need to remove the dash, just the piece of the trim that goes around the left side of the dash, over the steering wheel, to the radio. Remove the 4 screws holding the radio in, 7mm i think, pull the radio out and it will be behind it, to the right. ---------- Post added at 09:23...

TC-W3 2 stroke oil additive in gas questions

There a few threads on this subject on here. I have done this on my XL and wife's car for over 2 years. No issues, and have all the benefits stated in that 46+ page thread. It does not have to be Penzoil, just need to make sure you stay within the ratio.

    Window Tint...

So, you think 20% is too dark and not safe on the front windows, yet you have 5% on the rear over the factory tint??? :laughing1: Visibility out of 15-16% on the front is much better at night than 1% on the rear glass when trying to back up.

Heater on driver side while ac is on full blast

Sure, 89018365 is the OEM number from the dealer. They wanted $260! It is currently $99 on Amazon. I have a 2005 XL. This is the same part # for both the driver and passenger actuators. If your driver side is blowing hot, the actuator will be located in your passenger footwell, near the center...

Heater on driver side while ac is on full blast

I got an AC Delco replacement for a little over $100 on Amazon. Followed the install directions, and fixed it right up.

    A/C climate control unit?

I believe your actuator that controls the drivers side is going bad. I have a 2005 Yukon with the digital control and mine is starting to go and has the exact same symptoms (driver hot, passenger ice cold) By turning off the ignition and re-starting, I have been able to reset it. I will...

2 strokeoil in your gas tank

No, does not need to be Penzoil. Just make sure it has a TC-W3 rating/certification.

2 strokeoil in your gas tank

I have been using it for over a year, 1oz for every 5 gallons. Have driven about 20k miles on it, smooth idle and did notice the gas mileage after the first few treatments. I read the whole 46 page post on the LS1 forum before doing it, and found no negatives as long as the ratio was kept...

What all do you have ILLEGAL on your hoe/kon?

I was referring to your statement of "what everyone is posting" not my mods. I realize what is legal, thanks. At least in VA, aftermarket exhaust, tinted tails, no cats, suspension mods, up or down. Yes, HIDs on our trucks are illegal in most states.

    swirl marks

Dual Action or Orbital Polisher with the right pad and polish should work well. I used a Porter Cable 7424XP with an Orange Lake Country Pad and Menzerna Power Finish after washing and claying. My XL is dark blue and it got all the swirl marks out. After you do it, don't take it to auto...

    Sea Foam Questions

When I foamed my XL, I used the black tube in the second pic that comes from behind the engine cover, and bends down with the rubber thing on the end. That just lifts up and has vacuum pressure. I now use the outboard 2 cycle oil in the gas tank with each fill up and have had much less...

Also, fyi, the AEM at Autoanything dot com with promo code loyalty is $230, which is $10 cheaper than Amazon.

I'm going to buy this bad boy

I originally had the Spectre CAI. I would say the tube, connectors are very similar. However, the filter on the Spectre is inferior to the AEM Dryflow. I replaced the filter and you can tell the AEM is much sturdier then the Spectre. I believe the Spectre set up with the AEM dryflow is just...

    Removing torque management?

I believe my tune left me with ~30% torque management. I have had the tune for about a year, and just installed a Superior shift kit when I did a trans service 2 weeks ago. I only got the kit installed because I plan on keeping the truck for a while and I wanted to beef it up while I had the pan...

    LED Tailight Install Question--Passenger Side

Spliced in 3 5" sections, works great and not forced. On a side note, as I was testing all the lights, I noticed my high mount (3rd) brake light died and I never noticed. All fuses for lights are fine and other lights are working, so I am assuming the light is bad. Found out that you have...

    LED Tailight Install Question--Passenger Side

No, I don't think it opens up to that section. I got some wire and butt connectors and will be splicing a 4-5 inch section onto the brake wires, 3 I think to the top light. I figure it is easy to do and will prevent the wires from breaking or fraying and at least give me peace of mind.
