    replaced actuator on front diff. and still not getting it to shift into four wheel drive it blinks at me from the push button and can feel it trying to lock but cant get any traction

    reply to help it has been everytime its cold. i went yesteday to salvage yard and got actuator fiured itwas the easiest way to go. gonna replace today got more snow and more on the way. my gm buddy told me to replace fluid in front dif. also to shift smoother.

    96 tahoe v8 4wd. In tennessee its rare to see as much snow as we've been getting. I went to put my truck in four wheel drive(push button by the way), and it doesnt act like it wants to lock in and the light keeps blinking on switch. any suggestions or known poblems will help. THANKS

    ok, sorry for the lack punctuation. I had a scanner hooked up and it told me CPS we replaced it, but didnt work. So now im thinking fuel related causing a misfire, but trying not to tackle a fuel pump until i know for sure.
