    @DoubleDingo How did it go? Get comfortable with the process and be prepared for your new "GM" sensor to fail. My 2004 sensor lasted 21 years. The new GM sensor failed in 4 months, then another a few months after that. I'll tell you that removing the intake manifold makes this job super easy!

    2000 Tahoe makes pulsating wining noise periodically

    If it is a rotational pulsating whine it can only be so many things. When it starts again pop the hood and see if you can determine where it is and record the sound. Belt pulleys are typical.

    Massive vacuum leak. If it won't run for more than 5 seconds, then check fuel delivery. If the cats are clogged it should still idle, albeit roughly.

    Had the same issue, so I shifted into 4wd and out and back in again and it stopped. Periodically shifting in and out of 4wd seems to keep it happy.

    Has anyone else experienced failed cats on bank 1? The original stock cats failed a while back, with a broken piece rattling around. The second set was a cheap brand from Rockauto and again bank 1 failed by plugging solid. Any thoughts or suggestions of what the causes might be will be appreciated.
