    Whats this Noise?

    I think it has something to do with coolant flowing. Mine does the same thing and it sounds like it's coming from under the dash. It also does it in the back where my rear air is.

    Steering Wheel Noise...

    Unbolt your steering shaft from inside the engine. Push it in and out a couple of times,if the noise stops after that it's the shaft. You can do this method for awhile until there is no more grease to lube it up. Then just purchase a Dorman shaft and all good!!

    My steering wheel was shaking like crazy everytime I would get up to 40-50 mph. Got the tires roadforce balanced and smooth sailing ever since!!

    That sounds exactly like my truck,except I have 22's and 3.23 gears with a 4.8. I will be doing gears next. Calling around trying to get prices on install now!Just got a tune and it helped get this big ***** moving! Want to do gears,LT/ory, and maybe a converter.

    Blueflamed you have a 4.8 right? What was your ratio before the gear swap? I'm getting ready to have 4.11's installed on mine and was just wondering about performance and gas mileage?

    Mine is doing the exact same thing. I also ordered my wiring kit for knu concepts....hmmm? I thought I had it narrowed down to the rca's but now I don't think they are the problem.

    Firestone does give you lifetime balance and rotation of the tire... I bought some destinations and they have over 50,000 miles on them. They probably have 10,000 miles left, but they are sitting in my garage .

    I guess his AFR was jacked up so the guy doing the dyno asked him if he ever cleaned his MAF. This was after the first dyno pull. It's on PT.net.

    I was looking on another forum and a guy claimed he gained 10rwhp and 14 rwtq off just cleaning his MAF? I think I might give this a try and see if runs better or mileage increases.

    Average MPG

    I'm getting around 15-16 avg now. I used to get around 18 city 21 hwy before rims and tires. (4.8 with 323 gears) I wonder if I put 410's in would it get better mileage??
