Tape over it.
The ported box is in the truck so make it sealed with duct tape and see how it sounds. Duplicate the dimensions if it sounds good, bigger if it doesn't.
Rear brakes
Weak link on this model year is the sticking calipers in the rear. keep an eye on the right rear for sure. Oem pads last 60 k and after market get 25 or 30 k. Great trucks because of the smooth ride. Get a good all season tire to keep the sound down. enjoy your great truck!
Need a common ground ( central) for the impedence load.Where is your amp grounded? To test the subs take a 9 volt battery and touch touch the sub wires to it. This will test the throw, (+ out, - in) and polarity of the subs to determine if they are blown. Good Luck!
Has anyone tried that one to see if it helps? I put one on my barn door (split) burb and it worked great. I end up driving it more because it stays cleaner than the NBS Tahoe.
clean rear end
I have been looking everywhere----looks like I will wash it three times a week AND buy another 'Burb next year. My buddy (07 yukon xl denali) and I cruise together and my whole tailgate is wasted and his is clean----both stock, so it has to be the longer truck. I can't believe no...
is there a spoiler to prevent the turbulence at the rear window and tailgate. A dirt road and my back is caked. Snowy conditions and it piles up on my rear bumper. Slushy and the whole back is destroyed. I wash twice a week and I need help!
