Thank you. I don't have water in my blower chamber. I have an inch of ice that seized up my blower and blew the fuse!. You lucky people who don't live where is subzero most nights even yesterday well into march! -

Determining Tow package?
The 4L60 is anything but a tow fiend!. Engine great, tranny awful and all will fail from 100 to 200K or even sooner if you try to tow. If you do never put it in "D", always 3. I have a 98 and NEVER tow with it and I change the fluid every 30-40K. so far so good.- hugho

power steering hose
Frankly I have forgotten exactly how I hooked it up and in what sequence. I think I was able to do the radiator section or the pump section but not both easily. At one point I considered going to solid hose but eventually it was pump first then behind radiator with some prying. The radiator...- hugho

some of this advice is spot on and some not so.5 minute job it is NOT! At least on 4wd models like my 97. It took me several hours. Getting the fittings loose is doable without removing the shroud under and behind the radiator but reoving it definitely helps but the high pressure hose is a combo...- hugho

Yet another blower malfunction thread
Yes I replaced the resistor pak, against my better judgement after I did a cursory visual inspection. So Now I have installed 2 new fan switches, a new resister pak and a new blower motor and still only the high works. The only thing I can think of is the harness. I jumppered the hot connection... -

blower motor just stopped?
Join the club. I have had trouble with mine as well. The two senior members are spot on. When you pop a new switch in you will need to know in advance how the plug ins release as they are different. The plastic on my module is old and rotten and no matter how gentle I was it just crumbled... -

Leather or Vinyl?
They are leather on the seating surfaces which ends at the seams. It's nonsense that vinyl is better than leather. The thin vinyl on the sides of those seats is weak and thin and fails early. When I replaced the leather seat covers in mine I had them make up the cover in all leather. The... -

thank you. I was running out of ideas. I replaced the htr switch some poor 12 yr old girl built with a new one from rockauto probably built by her sister and still nada ...the hi is still the only one working so I'm only left with the wire resistors. Unfortunately they are VERY hard to access... -
