    What do you TOW?

24' boat, loaded with gear. Total weight ends up to be between 7,000 - 7,200lbs. Total gross weight, car, boat and gear is over 14,000. Used to shamelessly tow it with a 2002 suburban, 5.3 engine and it took some patience going up some of the hills. The trip would take around 3 - 3.5 hours...

2016 Yukon XL Denali - buffeting/excessive vibration - follow along

I have had the same vibration issue, never had the buffeting. Did they resolve it? My first complaint was vibration above 70/mi that gradually gets worse the faster I went. 85 feels like the car is going to fall apart. They took the vehicle in and made a repair. Something to do with U Joint...

2015 Denali - Lurch forward feeling when coming to a stop

Haven't logged in this site for while, but came back to see if others were experiencing what I have been. Exact same scenario as the original post. The vehicle was shaking above 70/mi and felt a clunk in the drivetrain. The loss of index repair didn't work completely so GM replaced my...

Service visit tomorrow - what recalls & know issues do I need to be aware of?

Not sure this applies, but I just sent my 2015i Denali to the shop to address the Propshaft U-joint retaining bolt recall. I had noticed a slight clunk noise when starting from a complete stop and vehicle shake at around 65 mile/hr that progressively gets worse the fast I go. The recall notice...

    ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)

Gary, I'd seen you post somewhere else (should probably not hijack this one and post there). I took note of the distances you quoted. Mine isn't that bad at all. At 60mh I got a little over 2 sec. at the mid setting and about 3 at the far using the 1 one thousand method. I was going to use my...

    ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)

I'm with you jl. Love it, works great. Owners manual shows you how to turn the ACC off and just use normal cruise control, but not permanently.

    Rim Photoshop

kcb, The Legend 6 are exactly what my wife wants for her Denali XL. Where did you get the rims? Did you mount the factory tires to them?

    Wheel Locks for 2015 Yukon

I dunno... It's worked for me. That, and knocking on wood. :) Plus I haven't seen a wheel lock yet that a thief couldn't handle. Had some on a car I bought, but the key was missing. The tire guy took two seconds to hammer on an impact socket to remove it.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

If I remember right - $1,500 for front bumper, headlights, and partial fender and hood (18" from leading edge), mirrors, door cups and edges, top of rear bumper. $2,000 for entire hood and fenders plus the other stuff.

    Production date

You can read through the Frustrated thread, but MANY variables. It's expected to be about 10-12 weeks from order to delivery. In my experience, after production, it goes through QC, called "Bayed" (3 weeks for me). Then it loads on a train (another 3 weeks from Arlington to Portland, OR). Then...

    Wheel Locks for 2015 Yukon

Yeah, Enhanced Security is an option. If you don't have a sun glass holder up in the headliner by the overhead lights and garage door buttons, then you have it. Found that out the hard way. Wuz looking forward to having one of those...

    Auto Memory seats, Driver #2

Yes. Doesn't make sense, but you put the check mark in the OFF box in the Vehicle settings, then you go to the door and press the SET button, release, then press and hold the # 1 or 2 button for a couple seconds.

Front mud guards that work with Retractable boards.

Great. Would like to see pics of that as well since mine, sorry - (my wife's) is black and she isn't quite sold on them yet.

    Auto Memory seats, Driver #2

Yeah, and it doesn't help that they made it more confusing with the terms they use. You have to turn Auto Memory Recall to (off) when you want to set the memory location of the seat. Well, it was confusing to me.

I didn't think I would like the flaps, but they look pretty good. Thanks for the pics and info.

    "Service 4WD" - Master Thread

You had the vehicle in 2WD but it decided it wanted to be in 4WD and you couldn't get it back to 2? I don't think I have read anyone having that happen to them. That kinda freaks me out.

    iPhone 6 and intellilink

Yeah, so.... you're not supposed to do that... "Do not pair the Bluetooth of an iPhone that is connected and using the iPod feature under vehicle media sources."

    Auto Memory seats, Driver #2

I had the same issue. And as a dude, it pained me to read the manual. If I remember right, you have to unlock the ability to change the settings through the Intellilink system under Vehicle Personalization, then I think Comfort and Convenience. Oh, and I lied, my lovely wife read the manual...

    Seat heater?

I thought I had the same issue but in the manual it says the indicator lights on the seat heat button will not turn on during a remote start even though the seat heat will be on. And if you dig further in the manual, it says the performance of an unoccupied seat will be reduced. With that, all...
