Several of us have either picked crud in the system or low refrigerant. Knowing pressures each time there was a problem, would have helped but getting info from shops can be like pulling teeth sometimes.
Thanks for vehicle info. My recommendation still stands for a compression test on both sides. You can rent compression test tools at parts stores. Make sure all plugs are out when doing the test.
It would help to know exactly what you are driving and engine info. BUT, it sounds like a head gasket problem. A compression test, both sides, can help pin down.

Based off of a recent incident with a 2017 Cherokee that I worked on, I know that the AGM battery in good shape is a MUST. Her husband had installed a non AGM main battery a while back and it caused start/stop problems as well as intermittent CEL and warning...
Pull the connector at the receiver drier/accumulator and use a paper clip or something to cross the wires of the connector and report back if the compressor does come on.

Had a 2008 4Runner here this morning for new pads, rotors, calipers for a front brake pulsation. Also drain and fill the rear diff for noise after the fluid was changed by dealer about 20k ago. Took front tires off and discovered d/s inner cv boot torn and slinging grease. I did the p/s axle and...
If you gotta use rubber hose on the metal lines, at least use band clamps and at least double or triple them at each connection. Also, make sure you use oil hose and not coolant hose.
I got that cut within the first 5 minutes this morning. I grabbed a shop towel and just kept wiping the blood off and pressing down and within 15-20 minutes the bleeding stopped.
I will be getting more nicks tomorrow morning. I have an 08 4Runner in my driveway right now that I will be doing...
