    Finally got the Rough Country 3.5” installed. Installer did a fantastic and quick job. Took them one day. Dropped off at open, picked up at close. 20x9 Fuel Rebel 6 +1mm offset 295x60r20 Nitto Ridge Grappler It measures 40.75 up front, and 40.25 in the rear. I’ll post better pics tomorrow.

    So I’ve done this in the past. You can use Plasti-Dip as the base and clear over it. It’ll be harder and more durable, but you’ll still be able to peel it later.

    I'm happy to see that it sits perfectly level. I have been hearing and reading that the RC kit can be taller in the front. have you noticed any settling since you've installed and drove around for a little while?

    Id love to get some measurements of front and rear on 3.5" RC lift. I see some nose high, others level, others with a tiny bit of rake. Supreme offroad make tiny level shims to adjust this.

    It's the 3.5" Rough Country kit, so I guess it isn't a true level. I read on here that the Z71 Tahoe isn't like the Trailboss, and that it doesn't have any different suspension parts than a regular 4x4 Tahoe, but I am always open to learning more.     Put on some black Z71 badges and replaced the orange signal lights with black ones that shine amber still. It’s coming together.

    Today I bought our family Tahoe!! Brand new 2023 Z71 in iridescent white. Can wait to start fixing it up. My wife has given the go ahead on a leveling kit, wheels and tires. I’m beyond pumped. This thing is sweet! It’s great to finally be back in a Tahoe.

    I agree that with stock arms, it would be a terrible idea to stretch it that far. The RC kit comes with the new bulky UAs . If they made a 4" kit that would be what I would buy.
