    Funny, they both have always worked and neither has ever had a completely dead battery. I even disconnected the vehicle battery for a few minutes trying to "reboot" the DIC. No joy.

    Yes there is, and I've replaced batteries in both...several times.

    I have the same issue in my '07 Tahoe. I can clear it in the DIC but next time I start it up "Replace battery in Remote Key" pops up again. And yes, I have replaced the battery...several times.

    interior lights wont turn on when door is open

    Didn't find a fix for my problem in this thread, is there another thread that addresses it? My problem: Upon opening the driver's door after shutting the vehicle down, the interior lights don't come on and the stereo won't shut off. Upon entering the vehicle, the interior lights won't come on...
