    The mechanic confirmed the RMS after I told them what I suspected. Using an endoscope, I couldn't identify any leaks coming from the top end. I planned to replace the camshaft sensor once I had it back.

    The PAC Rp5-gm11 is $90 on amazon in the US. Its retains your steering wheel controlls as well as the door chimes. You can also use metra part . They have the awsc1 for the steering wheel controls and the gmos4 or 5 for the chimes. I went with the pac as its one integrated unit. Good luck.

    you can get them from the stock vehicle's tune. They will vary as the intake is modified and need further tuning. What are you doing?

    I agree that ANY knock is bad knock. I was under the impression that the PCM blends the high octane and low octane timing tables. Its called adaptive spark. Did anyone mention the coolant bypass mod and a lower thermostat?
