winter shoes
Since last winter was nuts up here and they say this winter will be even worse (!), I would like to put on winter tires/rims in either 17" 18" or 20". For tires, Toyo Open Country A/T looking good but the problem is I am having a heck of a time finding a (black) steel rim that looks good... -
295/50-20 on OEM LTZ Rims
Had a few concerns in the early months - weird vibration at highway speeds and not the greatest in the rain. However, everything seemed to settle in and they have even been great in the snow. -
Hitch cover.
Bought the Street Scene hitch cover, got it painted, and when I tried to install it this evening, the fit is not right. When the top is properly flush, the bottom pushes the bumper "skirt" in so it looks bent/bowed in. Not impressed. Going to see what SS has to suggest. if anyone has any... -

295/50-20 on OEM LTZ Rims
Wanted to note my observations in case anyone else is considering going wider on the stock 20x8.5 rim. Was time to replace my stock 275/55-20 and wanted to go a bit wider w/o going to the expense of a full 20” or 22” rim and tire package. Went with the Falken Ziex S/TZ04. Screen cap below... -

sorry if i'm missing something....but don't LS/LT/LTZ have the same bumper except for possibility of backup sensors? the hitch close out fitment should be identical shouldn't it? -

2007 Tahoe: 305/50-20?
I will get aftermarket rims for sure (keep the OEM rims for the snow tires). Looking to find the correct offset so the tires really fill out the wheel wells but don't stick out. will check out Jenna Bear's truck thanks -

Tried the search engine - apologies if I missed this if it has been asked. Thinking of keeping snows on my stock 20" rims and buying 20"s or 22"s for the summer. Will 305/50-20 tires fit w/o rubbing? Don't want to do any cutting to make it work. If anyone has 305/50-20, please post pics... -
