    Driver Information Center (DIC) Display

I see this is an older thread, but you wouldn't by chance have a pic or know where I can find one of the chip that needs resoldered? I just started having this issue with my Tahoe and I am fairly proficient at soldering so I was gonna give it a shot. Will it look "burnt" or melted? Sorry if this...

This may or may not help but I'll throw it out there in case it may help someone that reads it. I recharged my ac a month or so ago cause it just wasn't getting cold enough. However the rear got really cold but not the front. Well I got to looking around and under the cover at the bottom of the...

Ok, that's what I was thinking myself. Is it OK to still drive the truck or no? It seems to run and drive just fine.

    cluster gauge acting crazy

https://youtu.be/MUwH-TXTj0s This just started yesterday. It was actually doing it a lot worse, the speedo jumping up and down, rpm, etc. I've never seen it do this before. It seems to run just fine, no issues there, starting or anything. Don't mind the commentary lol, 9yr olds seem to know...

    Driving/Fog light install

oh sorry, I didn't realize I was logged in to amazon when I linked it. Any who thats exactly what I did. First I did the 4 Hi easy mod, then I just ran jumpers from the low beams to power the fog lights. Only draw back is the lights have to fully be on to get the fogs on but no biggie. Looks...

    Front end "floating/skidding"

I know I started this post quite a while ago, I've been out of commission for a while with back issues. Anyways I know it's good to update a post with a solution once one is found for others with similar issues. We finally got around to having both upper and lower ball joints replaced as well as...

    Front end "floating/skidding"

I don't think it does. Is that electric controlled? Air? I appologize for my lack of knowledge at this point. I'm learning more about these trucks every day. Also my wife said she's noticed a "rattling" feeling in the steering wheel the last few days? That would be great cause I think we're...

    Front end "floating/skidding"

it is 4x4, It has new shocks on it that are just stock shocks from what I can tell. It drives around town fine, there just seems to be something "off" in the steering of the truck. I will prolly have to take it to the garage in town and have em do a once over on it. I really love the truck and...

    Front end "floating/skidding"

I'm sorry if this should be in street suspension, I thought it was for discussing lowering lol I just bought a 2001 Tahoe from a private seller. It's in great shape and has had quite a bit of front end components replaced, followed by an alignment. My issue is when we're on the freeway...
