I gave a quick try but didn't feel like I was making progress on removing. Is there a certain side to start from? I read on a different forum for chevy SS that they started near the windshield side because there were hooks on the passenger side that just pop out once the windshield side clips...
I am going to give this a try. Will just try to pry the trim off slowly. Any other tips for removing and replacing? I do think if I can get this piece off it will give me access to where the sound is coming from.
Thank you for posting this picture. I was going to do the same thing to confirm the piece that actually comes off. Before I start trying to remove a piece that shouldn’t be removed!
I am personally scared of breaking something or making it worse. Then suddenly I am the cause of the problem and not whatever it was in the first place. It also isn’t clear to me which parts of the dash are trim pieces and can be easily removed.
My wife thinks I am crazy but I am going to get rid of the vehicle. I can’t handle the sounds in the dash and mine has gotten worse. I also am skeptical of having the dash removed and then actually fixing anything. There is the popping plastic on plastic sound to the left of the center speaker...
How do you download? Nothing shows up when I search for Waze in the google store in the vehicle. 2023 Denali Ultimate. I use CarPlay so don’t really care, but was curious if I was doing something wrong.
I found my invoice. GM bulletin N212340500. Notes say AC system was overcharged and that caused the issue. Again, I don’t know if the fix worked. This was done in October 2022 and I sold it in February 2023.
I have the same in my 2023 Denali. I had an issue in my 2021 Tahoe where it would intermittently blow hot air on really hot days. I would notice when I would go around a curve or stop. Apparently there was a TSB or something for that where there was an issue with fluid levels. It was fixed by...
I have had my Ultimate since February and this has not been a problem for me. It is sensitive if I am getting a drink or looking away but otherwise no complaints about this aspect. Mine likes to stay in the far right of the lane but I am used to it now and enjoying it.
I love this vehicle but it the most expense with the most dash rattles of any vehicle I've ever owned. I recently had 2021 Tahoe premier and in the last two months have rented a premier and LT suburban with no rattles.
I have tried to slide foam in places like where the dash contacts the AC...
I have 2023 Denali. It is not just satellite. Happens to me in CarPlay also. Not every time but pretty often when I first start driving. Have also noticed it on satellite. I had 2023 Suburban rental on vacation and it did the same thing on CarPlay. Never had this happen on my 2021 Tahoe. It...
If anyone has had the big 5 point harness car seats, the head support in those would rattle when you’d hit a bump. That is what it sounds like to me in the dash. Like something in the dash can move around enough to make the sound. I don’t know how easy it is to pop off the grill around the...
I have 2023 Denali Ultimate. I am noticing a sound coming from the center of the dash when I go over bumps. It sounds like the noise you would get if something is loose and bouncing in the cargo area…only from the dash. My guess is the center channel speaker. I already had to have the drivers...
I have 2023 Denali Ultimate. I am noticing a sound coming from the center of the dash when I go over bumps. It sounds like the noise you would get if something is loose and bouncing in the cargo area…only from the dash. I already had to have the drivers door panel replaced for a rattle caused...
I picked up my Denali last week. It has the first 3 you noted but not Disney+. I have not seen a way to add apps but haven’t spent too much time trying. I bought 2 chromecasts to use for trips. Would be great if it was all on the screen and didn’t require another device.
It is annoying but probably one of those things I will eventually forget about and just do it via infotainment. And yes, getting SC and camera button may require the trade off…
This is accurate description. I should have noted I have SC and the heated steering wheel button is now where the old AC button was. I tried holding down the auto buttons but that didn’t seem to do anything. Didn’t see answer in manual so figured I would check here before messing around any...
That is the Auto button on mine. But I am looking for the sync button. My kids will often adjust the rear temp and I don’t realize it. So I like to be able to set all temps the same and always just hit the sync button on the passenger side control on my Tahoe.
I got my vehicle today. Traded in a 2021 Tahoe Premier. The premier has the climate sync button on the passenger temp control. On the Denali that button is now the AC button because of where the heating steering wheel control is. I see there is a sync option within the climate main menu but has...
Interesting. I have it on my premier Tahoe and it works pretty consistently with my iPhone 13 Pro. There are sometimes when I have to move the phone around but it works most of the time. I may look into the aftermarket option that goes on the center console.
I noticed that in the online inventory that many of the Ultimate window stickers are showing a $75 credit for lack of wireless charging. I was under the impression that there were not any constraints on the Ultimates. I have a few orders at local dealers and am patiently waiting but losing...
