    Also, the hill that I can get it to miss on every time is a 7% grade for about two miles out of a 35 mph curve, at the top when you reach about 50-55 and it starts to level out is when it starts vibrating from the miss and trips the light, shortly after shifting into high gear.

    clean with a degreaser and a brush to remove any wax, dirt etc, then you can use a shoe polish of the same or similar color to restore the original luster and color, or you can use trim kote dye from detail king, both of these work well for me.

    Could be a number of things, first you said that you replaced with a gates of the same size?? Was this the correct part because those belts stretch out. Other then that it could be a bearing in the water pump, alternator, etc, or could be just in need of some belt dressing.
