Also, when you mount the adapter to the transmission, and t-case to the adapter you must use gaskets. RTV won't cut it, the transmission will shit fluid all over your driveway as soon as you start it up.- T-Bagg

I did. I emailed back and forth with Dakota Digital (who were incredibly helpful). I settled on using the SEN-01-1 sending unit, plugged into the aft most pickup on the tail housing and same position as on the 246, and the SGI-100BT to convert the pulse-per-mile signal. If the bolts are spinning and not coming out there's two possibilities. Either the bolts are stripped or the receptacle in the roof has broken free in the roof allowing it to spin in it's hole. If the bolt is stripped then it will be about an even pressure to turn it the whole way around. You... -

Roof rack tents? Powered coolers? Shit sounds pussy. When I go camping I often don't bring a tent. I have military cot a stole from work and sleeping bags. I considered a vinyl roof since it would match my Caddy. But I use that rack. For the spare, my lights and gas cans, sometimes firewood. Plus, I lose some of my trucks off road cred. Gotta keep the cool factor.
