    Auto headlight delete?

Is there a way to delete the auto headlight function on my 08? It was simple to do on my 01 and 06 Any thoughts? Maybe I'm mistaking the daytime running lights?

    Sway bar options

After driving around with the new bars it is very much a different vehicle. It's body roll is significantly less and going around the corners is a lot more fun. I think it might be just a bit on the firm side. I think most of that is the new springs all the way around which will hopefully soften...

    08 Denali lowering questions...

Well ⅜" in spacers on top of the strut mount and its real close to being level. The rear is less than ¼" and the front is right at ¼" if I go up another ⅛" spacer on the drivers side it's starting to lift the passenger side. So it's as close as I'm going to get it. I will take a picture or two...

I would never do such a thing! I bought mine from Nolathane, found a code for 10% off.

    08 Denali lowering questions...

Maybe I just over thought the problem, making more of a problem than it actually was? That's a real good possibility. I will find out tomorrow. Stay tuned for more Denali hijinks!

    08 Denali lowering questions...

I don't know why I didn't think about this before, how about let's do a corner weight on it! Great idea...right? LF...1,550, RF...1,400 = 2,950 LR...1,400, RR...1,380= 2,750 Not a bad front to rear % but the corner weights are shit. The 150lb in the LF is enough to make it lean. So whats the...

    08 Denali lowering questions...

If I were a betting man I would think this is a short wheelbase 4x4 issue more so than the XL. Longer frame of the xl will allow for more flex to where this lean isn't a problem. This doesn't make me happy,

    08 Denali lowering questions...

Brand new Belltech springs. Contacted BT they are clueless. I pulled out the spring isolators in the right rear and took a ring off the front right strut to lower the high side......nope didn't help.

    08 Denali lowering questions...

Well I have been chasing my tail trying to get rid of my ½" lean to the drivers side. I tried different amount of spacers and isolaters on the rear. I tried to drop the right rear to get the left front up and multiple other things, and the closest I can get it is ⅜" in the rear and still a bit...

I mentioned it it my other thread about lowering my 08 Denali. I knew the bars wouldn't fix the lean, just wanted more bar in the back so why not change them both!

    Sway bar options

Well, I went with Nolathane bars. The front fit great but I shortened up the end links ¾" for a better fit. The rear bar took a little modification of the DJM end links and its a snug fit. Still trying to get rid of the ½" lean to the drivers side.....I'm about to give up.

Right rear squawk noise at heavy articulation or small bumps-SOLVED

The sway bar mounts by energy suspension that have the grease zerks are also slotted on the inside to allow the grease to get to most of the bushing. If they poly bushing isn't slotted, the grease won't be able to get around the center sleeve. Use a good synthetic grease like Amsoil, Red Line...

I run Amsoil in my G80s with zero issues...no additive needed with the G80. 12 years in my 01 and over 1 year in my 08.

I would like to upgrade my front and rear bars on my 08 Denali. Who's the go to for a quality set? Hellwig? BellTech? Hotchkis? Hellwig and BT are solid and Hotchkis are tubular. Are there other options I'm not seeing? I also found Nolathane 38mm, 30mm Eibach also.

    suspension lower on left side???

I pulled one ring from the passenger side front strut and it went down ½" but the drivers side dropped also. Put the ring back in with new front springs and I'm back to ½" higher on the passenger side. So I jacked up the left rear until the back end was level. I put a ½" spacer under the spring...

    suspension lower on left side???

So you would just be preloading the sway bar?

    suspension lower on left side???

My 08 Denali is exactly ½" higher on the passenger side. I even measured it at the frame and it's still ½" so it's suspension related and not body mounts. The front is an easy fix, just take another ring off the strut but the rear is going to be different.

    08 Denali lowering questions...

Now with the ride sensor rods taken care of, the fronts are too short to allow the suspension to fully drop when jacking it up. The rears I shortened 1" and the front 1¼". Why did GM make the suv ½" lower on the drivers side? What is the logical explanation?

I wish my HP tuner could get into the system so I could just turn it off. Any idea where to get new socket ends for the sensors? I broke one...or two

    08 Denali lowering questions...

I guess I don't fully understand the system. Since the RTD fuse will be pulled will the level ride sensors even be active? Can I just put them in a midway travel position and fix then in place? Or maybe put resistors in place of them?
