I've been looking everywhere for the nickel plated slip yoke..
Gmc in my town wants 300$+ for one
I got a 97 tahoe 2 door and looking for the part # for the nickel plated slip yoke.. And maybe a website that will sell one for a little cheaper??
Is there anyway by counting teeth or something because its coming out of a wrecker and it doesn't have that info..
So it should just be a straight forward bolt on right ??
Well lets start it off saying I have a 97 tahoe 2 door with every common problem under the sun..
And now I'm looking to replace the front diff, rear axle and manual t-case on my truck..
I have a buddy of mine holding the front diff, 14 bolt rear axle, manual t-case and driveshafts out of a 95...
I bought my truck knowing it has no key fob with it.
It's a 97 tahoe and I've tried programming the new key fob I bought for it.
My problem is when I put the jumper lead from #4 to #8 it never recognizes the program mode ( by locking and unlocking the doors. )
So what am I doing wrong or what...
would the front and rear bumper from a 2500 chevrolet pickup fit on my 97 tahoe?
I want to switch out my painted bumpers for chrome. and I like the 2500 bumper a little more.
I ended up using a bar of soap on the belt.. Went away until night time so I just washed off the belt in warm water and dried it.. No squeek yet?
I got an ac delco belt 6k960 with a stock alternator...
So after replacing my intake manifold gasket on my hoe I had a horrible squeel come from my belt.. ( this is a new belt as it is ) I ended up replacing my tensioner and idler pulley as both were definitely worn out. And also replaced with a new belt. Went away for about 2000km and now it's back...
I think I'm going to go with a 2.5" skyjacker lift with the add a leaf.. I just purchased some 33s to go with my rims.
Is it possible to put bags in the rear?? I still do a lot of towing!
