My brand new 2025 Yukon AT4 has an issue with the large center screen. Sometime the large screen just doesn’t boot up when engine starts. It stay black. I loose ability to control A/C and radio and all else that screen controls. I can see the screen is on because there is a glow to screen but...
2010 Tahoe LTZ, 5.3, 171k miles. I will be replacing my valve cover gaskets due to leaks. Should I should proactively change the oil pressure sensor even though I have no current issues with the original sensor? It doesn't appear to be leaking. Only reason I'd change it now is if it's easier...
On January 17,2025, my dealer placed my order for a shorty silver Yukon AT4 also with premium 8 passenger package and 6.2 engine. As of today, it’s still at current event code 1100. My dealer is one of the country’s largest so hopefully allocation and getting my order moving along won’t be a...
When I replaced my canister, I vacuumed out the lines with a shop vac. I vacuumed a lot of charcoal beads out of the lines going to the gas tank. It was easy and very necessary part of the replacement
The building I did made me get the air suspension if I pick super cruise. I see the air suspension as unnecessary and something else that will break but it’s required for no reason.
You and I are thinking the same. I really want a bench and the AT4 is the best way and still get most of the options like ventilated seats, super cruise, and the 6.2 along with a bench AND not get the ridiculous rear seat entertainment. I don’t need/want 4wd but oh well. I also was able to build...
I did all OEM on 4 corners from Rock Auto. Couldn’t be happier. Z55 on a 2010 Tahoe LTZ. Used spring compressor on front. All went great except I first installed the bump stop upside down on one strut. I removed it and corrected my mistake after reviewing the install for the second strut. Highly...
@petethepug, is there an AC Delco fully assembled front strut for the z55 suspension? If not, is it worth the trouble to buy all the AC Delco pieces and assemble them? How is the full assembled Dorman strut?
@usdlawstudent , what did you decide on? I need the same struts you were seeking.
There is a video showing how that clip works. It helps to know how and where to squeeze. I think I used a flat head screwdriver pressing the button and a 5 in 1 painters tool to twist the connection off at the same time and while laying on my back
I just fixed this on my 2010 Tahoe. I never topped off gas so I think it’s just an inevitable failure. The charcoal canister under the car is most likely your problem. Be sure to vacuum out the lines to the fuel tank before hooking up the new canister. I posted a very helpful YouTube video on a...
@LSBoostedModular did you ever figure out which rear shocks for the Z55 air ride? I have 2010 Tahoe LTZ and I'm like you, very confused. I see the GM parts but which of the Arnott are plug and play AND keep OEM functionality? Thanks
I suspect most go way longer that 75k miles. I have 166k on my 2010 Tahoe and the rear air shocks are likely bad but I rarely notice any issues. You should wait years longer.
