    I cut them in half without even removing them. I may end up doing the full free travel mod. But, even just by cutting the bump stops it was a much softer ride in the rear. A notable difference for sure!

    So I bought some tail light tint. The goods is that when I do it right, it's going to look great. The bad news is that I spent an hour, did a TERRIBLE job and had to rip it off. It was harder than I expected to contour it out smooth! Now I have to order more. Any tips for when I try this...

    Chapman is right although I don't think #1 matters. I had the links at 2.75 and air ride system was confused and aired up and down. It was sitting on the yellow stops so ride was rough. Cut the yellow snubs in half and link down to 2.5 and BIG difference!

    My compressor always kicked on at 2.75. Now it does NOT kick on all the time like it used to now that I cut them down to 2.5. Cutting the bump stops made a very noticiable difference in ride quality as well! I can't believe I didn't cut them sooner! By doing both of these things I got...

    I cut the bump stops in half and cut down my autoride links to exactly 2.5. They were at about 2.75 prior..... I will take a drive in the morning and we'll see if she settles down further!

    I know it alone doesn't "lower"....but I thought in my case with the fact that it's just sitting on the bump stops, removing them would allow the truck to sit as low as it wants to... In other words, the bump stops are currently preventing the truck from sitting as low as it should........... right?

    Thanks Tony.... Is it odd that the truck is sitting on the bump stops like that? That means i have no rear suspension right now huh? So I'm clear, nothing will push the ass down further right now without cutting those off right?

    Here is a pic from in front of the rear tire looking back on the bump stop and spring. How can I go lower if it is sitting on the bump stop right now? I have auto ride, I removed the spacer at the time of install.... What am I missing?

    You will sell a ton of them on here. The DENALI badge for the 2007+ is the same for all trim level's. So is the word YUKON as well as the GMC logo. Let's hook something up.

    I have had the 3 / 4 kit for a couple years now. I still think the rear is too high so I was searching and found this thread. I may try to cut down my autoride links a bit more... but I was under the truck and I noticed that it's sitting on the bump stops right now just chilling in my garage...

    3M has a great product that the BMW guys use to black out the chrome window moldings on their cars. it's simply vynal overlay. Get the gloss to match the paint! I used it on my chrome hood molding that was always a pain in the ass to paint as well as on the roof rack. You can black out anything...
