Questions on Vortec & TBI
I have some pics of a co-workers 97' tahoe im buying in march. I can't for the life of me figure out why it doesn't have push button 4X4 or that it has the older style air filter atop the motor. It has 120K on it and is super clean. Pics links below...- dirtbikerdude2005

Getting a co-workers 2 dr 97' 4X4 Tahoe in Feb...Oil Questions..
I want to use 0W-20 because it's thinner/lighter. This would allow the motor to crank & run easier. Also i would think the thinner oil would get in the nooks crannies faster on startup, plus better gas mileage the easier the motor turns. I live in North Florida.- dirtbikerdude2005

The owner works at the dealership and will get a mechanic to replace the rear main seal and do a tranny service..all of this for $500 bucks outta my pocket. BFG all terrains vs MPG
I had a question for you guys...The 97 2 DR Tahoe (4WD) I'm getting has a 5.7L and an axle ratio of 3.08 and is fully stock. Any idea what mileage I might get with that ratio?- dirtbikerdude2005

Probably Buying a Co-Worker's 97' Tahoe
A guy I work with who's 63 is looking at selling his wifes baby..which is a 2 door white Tahoe 4X4. It has 3.42 rear end ratio which should help w/mileage. Bleeding brakes on an '01 Yukon W/ABS
A buddy and I were attempting to change his ABS module and realized the screws were stripped, so we had to remove the entire ABS pump w/module attached.
