Congrats, the new truck you got there... it's beautiful! Are you going to do any retrofit on it?
I always wanted to ask you but keep forgot about it. My H1 starting to shift color (not the Chevy, it's other car use for years) and it's time to replace it. Wonder if there is any difference...
Quads MH1 on aftermarket OEM housing? You can't install the bulb without remove the bracket of the housing (bulb too long) because if you aim the low then the hi projector will be off, unless you want the hi as high beam only so no need to aim. I pumped into this issue when I do a quads retro...
Or you can do Depo with FX-R projector which is much cheaper than TSX and somewhat easier to work with, although you don't need 55 watts since the FX-R already come with clear lenses and output is very wide.
Really, I didn't know about it. At that time I just want a big car that can fit my family so we don't have to drive two cars each time we on a long trip do this is want I got :)
I'm waiting for a few more parts to work on my S2000 projector with Spyder housing and if able to finish them I'll will let you have current set with same price I pay for the parts (projector and housing).
I'm really happy with the H1 & Spyder but after I saw S2000 retrofit drive by and I want...
That is correct but it's a pain to put big projector like FX-R on and it require lots of trimming. But Spyder is very easy if using the H1 projector, it's like plug and play since you only need to remove the housing len.
It's depend how you like the look. I have both Spyder and Depo but I start with Spyder first thinking Depo will be my backup. After I'm done with Spyder and work on Depo with FX-R then sold it for my friend so I think the Spyder is much easy to work with. And of course the FX-R projector is far...
I use aftermarket with clear lens. It's called Spyder Auto Chevy Silverado 1500/2500/3500/Chevy Suburban 1500/2500/Chevy Tahoe Chrome Crystal Headlight.

But hey you can still fix it.
To take care the HID bulb hitting the reflective shield by visit the local hardware store pickup one or two heat resistance washers to reduce the length of the bulb.

He is right...
I have both; the Depo is what I called a plug n play to put HID kits on. It's nice when you look at it but the output is not evenly spread out and of course hotspots...etc. For the cutoff you can do a quick fix with this step, its work great for me. You can have my Depo for...
I'll try to snapshot when I have a chance.
I make it like that for my references to see better, and when need it fog light will be on to fill that gap. It's took me a few tried to get that by cut out the housing and pulled back the projector a bit meaning I'm not fitting it thru the 9006 hole...
I just recently have sometime follow the instruction on this photo to adjust my aiming
And this is what I got
I'm really happy with what I got for now. I have learn a lots from this forum. Thanks everyone, and if I have a change to redo it, I'll try with some thing better like TSX similar...
I do the first one (driver) for 7 mins and nothing happen so I double it with 15 mins and it come out easy. The second one (passenger) after bake with 15 mins, it took me no more than 5 mins to separate them apart. Just don't force it and you may need two flat blade plus the cutting knife to cut...
Matt just email me saying one left on stock but without the shrouds. I'm going to wait for few more weeks to see if he restock it, if not then I will do lots of cutting to fit in the blazers onto fog housing.

I just hand-tighten it at first, and installed it back to the car without the lens covers and park the car 25 feet away from the blank wall. I rotation...
The first thing that you think of when you think "projectors" is the cutoff, right? That's why I'm doing this.
Installing a set of eBay (or any other brand) HID bulbs into your halogen housing will look good (which I did years ago.) but it presents a problem. They put light on the road, sure...
I think it depend on where you put the camera at. I had tried with 170 degree camera on the same spot and the view wasn't that great. But if I move them down to the trailer hitch its better, the angle is a bit bench because it's too wide and some time it hard to know the accurate of the...
I bought the same one that you have (same camera same guy in eBay), installed it and day time was great but at night, it's flickering with green screen like someone turn it on and off. Contacted the seller, he send me difference one difference kind and still same issue to I trash them all. Don't...
