Headunit not turning ON when engine is running
Hey. So I've been having a problem all of the sudden with my headunit not turning ON when I start the engine. Funny part is when the key is in accessorie the stereo turns on and works perfectly normal but then as soon as I start the engine again it stops working. I have know idea why it's doing...- Knobz

Fa sho. I like using the Dupi-Color Vinyl paint, cuz a cpl years ago when I first painted the center console lid with I don't remember what paint but if it was hot outside the paint would come off when I rested my arm on it -

Tinted front windows + windshield?
If you tint your windshield, I'd say.. better be ready to start getting pulled over by the police... I had my windshield tinted, and got approached by cops with guns drawn cause they said they couldn't see inside at all so they had to take "precautionary measures" lol over speeding... CHP's out... -

It's all good bro. I liked the chrome better too.. The main reason I painted the wheels black was cause driving down the road with rims that are like mirrors, every time I passed a cop they'd look at me twice, stare me down like I'm a drug dealer or pull me over... I was tired of constantly... -

Well good news, I talked to the guys at Cali Wheels where I got them and he told me that slashed tires falls under the comprehensive category on car insurance because it's considered vandalism.. So hopefully I just have to pay my deductible and my insurance company will pay for new tires. -

Yup. And then grind the rest so you do t slice your tires or your hand or something crazy ha And then install some 3/4" pancake bumpstops. I drilled and tapped a hole for mine and then threaded them in.- Knobz

hid problems
I can't remember which is which but I do know that 1st generation HID ballasts were DC current (the way they wired inside the ballasts) and everyone had problems with ballasts and then they started making the ballasts AC current and now the failure rate of ballasts is a lot less likely.. my .02... -
Amp wireing question
It has to be connected to the battery because when you have huge current draws from bass drops, your amp relies on the battery as a capacitor and your battery relies on your alternator to replenish it.- Knobz

Decided it was time for a few big changes..
Got to work on the trucks latest project today.. Almost finished, couple more things to do… Here's a sneak peak of the progress. -
Helper bags
On a normal day with no people or cargo in the truck, I run about 10 psi. I have an onboard compressor with controls on the dash so if the road is super bumpy, I air them up to 15 psi to make things a little smoother..- Knobz

Plasti Dip is your "flat black" look best friend for anyone on a budget like me lol So I'm gonna put the wheels on and see what it looks like.. Cuz I'm not sure whether or not I want to paint the grille shell, tint headlights/turns/fogs/tails yet... What do you guys think? -

Anybody know where I can get a roll pan for a 2004 tahoe?
You could get a bolt on roll pan, mount it and then take it to a body shop to have them weld the seams, smooth it, and paint it..
