a d44 likely will not take tires that big and be dependable, you would want to build a 60 and be done with it, my friend has a tj w 44s and he won't even run 35's on it without puttin in moly shafts
i have 285/75/16 dick cepek fc2s under my stock tahoe, i thought there was no rub. .. but when i came back from my last off road trip i realized i was wrong when i'm stuffed fully i got a lil rub on my outside tire edge, chewed into my lugz a bit oh no!! still happy with it though
i stuffed mine into pods. . .. . not sure i like the sound of the fiberglass pods but they do stick into the cargo space a fair bit, not into line of sight though. . . just saying
well thats the best news i've had since my new shoes got here, now i just need a tire machine and balancer. . .. waiting for the weekend. thanks for the input boys, i'll get some pics up next week

hi brand new to this site! i have already purchased a set of 285 dick cepek fc 2 tires and i am mounting them on my tahoe rims tomorrow, how much work will it take to fit them? i am considering either wheel spacers or a body lift depending? the tires actually measure 33x 10.5 . thanks for your input
