Yukon Denali - Driver's side running board light not working
The dealer said it was just a faulty LED strip, but it's not under warranty. (Bumper to bumper expired at 36k, and the GM Protection Plan specifically excludes lighting. Unfortunately, the warranty is expired. The dealer wants $760 to replace the LED strips on both sides (I'm skeptical - the passenger side is fine, so I think it's just a money grab). The part (84824215) is $155 +tax per side from the dealer, but only $86 +tax online, so I figure they're only...- schrimsher242

Unfortunately it's 44k miles and beyond the factory bumper to bumper warranty. I bought the GM Protection Plan but it specifically excludes lighting. Update: As I kept looking into this, I ran across the forum post below, sounds like it might be related and a common issue due to a bad seal. My wife is driving the Yukon right now but I'll take a look for corrosion / water when she gets back...- schrimsher242
