    I agree, after my little experiment im thinking I may be losing pressure to the lifters causing the misfire, I think the lifters get their oil via the cam bearing passages.

    I don’t think so, nothing is impossible but it’s a gates sprocket which isn’t a low quality part. I spoke to a buddy who’s a gm tech and he suggested I look at some things.

    It was off when I initially did it and immediately gave me a p0016 for cam crank correlation so I tore it back down and reset timing, no more correlation but the p0011 persists

    you got an oil pressure issue my friend, im willing to bet that you also have a p0111 stored for the variable cam timing. when your sitting at idle oil pressure is probably low and when you come off a heavy load to no throttle it dips too.     Yeah an exhaust manifold or gasket leak could certainly introduce post combustion air into the exhaust before the sensor making it think it’s running lean and richening it up.

    You really need to get fuel trims before you can do anything, since it’s only on one bank it’s somewhat isolates what you need to look at but it could be anything from a vacuum leak to an injector to a o2 sensor.
