I put a Thornton tuning chip on my 22 Z71 5.3. Almost instantly I noticed better throttle response. Better launch and 0-60. Better mileage on the highway and overall it works. Now just curious if the transmission agrees with it long term
So I have 22z71 suburban with 59665 miles. Just under the warranty period. Noticed some noise and shutter between 2nd and 3rd gear. Dealership wants $700 for a tranny flush and TCM reprogram. IMO this should be covered by warranty? Thoughts.

I have a 22 Z71 and yes with my lead foot. It sucks. I’m fairly certain Gm turned it the eco 4 cylinder shift on the Z71s. I put a Thornton performance chip in mine and after a couple tries tuning. It’s 16-18. Not great but better
