    98 tahoe I'm looking to either make or purchase kick panels that will house 6.5 components. I have found the Q-Logic ones but can't bring myself to pay $200 for them. Any DIYs on making them outta the old kick panels?

    gear selector plate keeps breaking

    I have a 98 hoe and it keeps breaking the plate that the gear selector goes into. Its also what the shift linkage connects to. I've replaced it 3 rimes in two months this time the plate didn't even last a day. I'm not rough with the shifter. Why does this keep happening? Am i over tightening it...

    i have the 8 speaker premium sound with the amp under the seat. my question is can i replace the amp with an aftermarket but keep the stock speaker wires? or would it be best if i just ran all new wire to the speakers?
