I guess I’ll have to start just following wires from that charm diagram. Since I can’t make the problem reciprocate its self I will have to look at each individual wire until I see something out of the ordinary. Electrical issues are a pain, personally I would rather be wrenching on something...
I wish I could make the fuses keep popping but they don’t. I’ve wiggled and moved everything trying to make it happen but I can’t make it happen again. Seems very odd. If I could make them pop again this would be easier
At my wits end with my wife’s 04 Tahoe
3 months ago it died on her far away from home. Got it towed home. Both INJ fuses were blown. As soon as I put new ones in and hit the key on they would blow. Found the ground on the back of the head passenger side to be barely hanging on. Cut splice and...
Im getting frustrated because even after calling GM directly - they cannot even get the pump. He also checked for bulletins, TSBs, ETC. and they have nothing on it. It is extremely disappointing that GM expects their vehicles to outlast and outrun the competition but discontinues a part that is...
Yes look at that. That is the active brake controller/pump located under the hood by the power steering pump. I may order it just to replace it. I checked the two wire connector on the as well and did not see any signs of damage.
I have replaced the fuse, reinstalled the ebcm, cleaned and reset the ecu. Dismantled and cleaned the entire fuse box. Cleaned and prepped every ground and still all all the light and messages. I’m now learning that the abs module I have is discontinued. My rig is awd, with active brake control...
Why does the EBCM on my truck have way more valves and only one large plug? Every replacement ebcm I find only has a couple valves and has 3 electrical connectors?
I’ll check the harness. Before I reinstalled the fuse from the above posts I only ever had an abs light and brake light.
The wife wants all the lights off and inspection (nj) so this is why I got to this point. I drove the Tahoe for a year with no issues while having the brake light and Abs...
So I scanned for codes with the fuse installed in that location. Got a whole bunch of stuff going on. One was the front left wheel sensor. Replaced that and still have abs light, brake light, tc light, service stability, service brake. And the codes I have are as follows:
P1689 - delivered...
The location never had a fuse in it. All this time I have been driving around with just the Abs light and brake light on. When I put that fuse in some weird relay clicking happened so I took it out. Now I have service stabilitrak and traction control. Should I re install the fuse?
Ok that makes more sense. I know there is also an Abs fuse in the fuse box under the hood. The location I circled can you agree that is the location you have circled as well? The only confusion I have is the 10amp below the relays is that the pdm fuse. My panel shows that location being a Pam...
I am new to the forum - Want to start by introducing the vehicle - 2004 Chevy Tahoe 179,000 miles no modifications.
The brake light and ABS light have always been on since I owned it (Bought it at 163,00). The wife is going to take the tahoe because it has been such a great vehicle and I'm...
