I love the difference. I actually got the idea from reading yours posts about suspension upgrades.

I finally decided to swap my oem Goodyear tires to something with a larger sidewall (265/70/17). Got roughly 25k miles out of the Goodyear tires which was impressive. Also decided to install a catchcan just because I was bored as well as super bright LED reverse lights. Adjusted the striker...

Well saw that my radiator had a tiny leak so decided to replace it. Flushed out the system several times with fresh coolant. While I was in there I put on a new serpentine belt and air filter. Added some power steering fluid as well.

Took the PPV on a long road trip to Angel Fire, NM. Car drove and performed really well even in zero degree weather. One of the TMPS sensors did not appreciate the cold. Luckily I had spares and a reset tool. First year of ownership I put on almost exactly 20k (150k-170k) trouble free miles.

In 165,000 miles I don’t think the engine was ever detailed. Rightfully so for a previous prison warden car. There’s a first for everything. Before and after pictures included:

Decided to do a brake flush since I got myself a Motive bleeder for my other cars. I can’t believe how dirty the old fluid was. So glad I decide to flush it.

I guess it depends on where you are. I just looked locally in Houston Tx and you can get several ranging from $65-$150. When I was looking I found four different yards selling them for $100/per. Edit: I also see some one eBay for $200 shipped right now for an 07-14 Tahoe.

You can get an oem hitch for about $100 from many junk yards. Removing the old bolts is the worst part of the process.

I had some old wrap left from when I wrapped an emblem on another car. I was bored and decided to see what I could do with it. I used a hair dryer and a razor blade to wrap the wood. I removed the panels and slowly wrapped them. It’s fairly easy to do if you are patient.

Decided to do some more maintenance. Noticed that the rear pad was eating at the rotor so decided to swap on all new pads and rotors. Easy project and the car stops significantly better. Also decided to swap in a new battery and new upgraded starter. While I was doing that I saw that one of the...

The project keeps going. Added an SLP exhaust and vent shades. Used some Adam’s tire polish and interior detail to clean her up as well.
