I only had onstar data plan for the 1st 3 months. Wireless carplay worked long after my data plan expired and only stopped working maybe 2-3 months ago. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. When I purchased the vehicle everything worked fine. I don't know if GM changed something but a few months ago it stopped working.
