Got the springs and Bilstien 5100s on today. The rear came up 2" and the front came up an inch. Thanks for the help help guys. Here's a before and after...
Can you post a couple pics now that you have everything installed? I just ordered the Bilsteins and Moog springs. I'm debating on getting the spacer and keys...I think a small lift would be ok.
Zach man thanks for the info. This makes things a lot easier for me. I was tempted to just drop the $680 on the Arnott kit but now I feel more confident in buying the parts seperatly.

That is Smoke. He's a blue merle smooth coat collie. I received him from Brigadoon Service Dogs about...
Guys if you can help or at least point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. I have a brain injury so I'm having a hard time sorting through all the threads.
I'm looking to get rid of the autoride on my 05 denali. I've kinda narrowed things down to the z71 spring with Bilstein...
I used EBC pads on my SVT Focus. They were great! Now I'm stuck with 4 kids who seem to have evolved into bottomless stomachs. I'm also replacing the suspension and I just had the front diff rebuilt so I'm having to stick to a tight budget, otherwise I'd go for the good stuff ;)
OK it's time for new pads and rotors for my 2005 Yukon denali.
Any suggestions on what I should go with? I'm looking for brakes that aren't noisy, affordable and work well. My wheels are stock 17s.
Thanks guys
Joshua
Old thread, but exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you for the information TheAutumnWind.
What difference will the Z71 springs make on my 05 Denali?
Mine started doing this last week. I've been opening and shutting the rear drivers side door as a quick way to get everything to turn off. Guess I'll be looking into the latch now.
No problem. I found it in the forums here although I forgot who the op was. Just passing on info. It helped my steering out quite a bit. Can't wait to feel the difference after the air ride is replaced with the z71 suspension and the pitman arm is replaced.
If the steering feels loose then try this.
Take off the plastic cover that's behind the steering wheel. It's where your emergency flasher switch is. Then turn the wheel to the 3 and the 9 o'clock position. You'll see two torx bolts respectively. They may have yellow markings on them. Even though...
You have to turn the steering wheel to get to it. One is at the 3 o'clock position and the other is at the 9. Yes there is yellow lock tight on the bolts. I took a pic but it won't let me upload.
The dvd itself is fine. I think it the unit that isn't working properly. I guess I'll just save up for an aftermarket unit with nav. Any good ones out there?
So I bought my denali a few weeks ago. The Nav unit has been making a weird noise and not working at all. So I pulled it to find someone had shoved a katy perry cd in there on top of the nav dvd. I got it out...eventually. Put everything back in. Started the truck and the navigation worked like...
I'm Joshua from Everett, wa. I just bought an 05 Yukon Denali with 168k miles. Everything looks great on it except the air ride is blown and the nav system sucks donkey balls. I will be getting the Arnott conversion in a couple months to take care of that. I've had the truck about 2 weeks now...
