    The guy that rebuilt my motor said the chain he installed has to much slack in it, he installed another one with the same name brand and got the same thing, i'll probally goto my local gm dealer and get a set, they are only 90.00 for a set on gmwholesaledirect.com they are local to me.

    Lifter on driver side started making noise, it got so bad it started missing, went out yesterday and it wouldn't start. Only has 900 miles on rebuilt engine.

    Back to the shop, looks like it has jumped time, only 906 miles on the engine!

    Huge problem.

    I have 900 miles on a newly rebuilt engine, 2 weeks ago at cold start you could hear the lifters ticking for a second or two then quit. Now it has gotten so bad its throwing a misfire on #7 code.

    Replaced the oil sending unit, it was leaking really bad! Good thing about it being replaced my oil pressure gauge isnt going nuts! lol Also picked up my cowl induction hood, waiting till my SS bumper cover comes in before i install and have the tahoe repainted.

    I just ordered a SS bumper cover, so i will have to figure out what to do about my grill, might just add some billet inserts.

    Ordered the Duraflex SS bumper cover, waiting on a call back from local dealership to see if they have a 01 silvy 2500hd hood in stock. Will the grill from the 2500hd work with our lights?

    If i'm going to replace it I want it to be top quality, not something that will wave back at me while doing 70 down the highway. Most of the aftermarket replacement hoods are thin metal.

    I just installed a new head unit 2 days ago, I hooked everything up from new head unit to the factory plug, powered it up and I didn't have any sound. I had to do the same thing with the pink wire. My tahoe is missing the sub so all i have are mids and highs and yes it sounds like crap. lol...
