Can i chime in to say my 4mo old boy is napping on me right now. It's been a crazy learning curve becoming Mr. Mom. I often find myself wanting him to be bigger and less reliant on me every waking moment.
Looking for someone localish that I could build some mechanical skill with. I was never taught by my father growing up and am not very handy.
I sometimes can get things done with the help of YouTube but honestly am very daunted by the complexity of some things.
Willing to travel / compensate...
Glad to hear it went well. How hard is the cluster to remove from your dash? I have thought about sending mine out to have the gauge faces replaced (to an esky look). However, I am very much mechanically inept and worry I couldn't remove it.
Kinda bringing the dead back to life here but "Tom's Turbo Garage" on YouTube- he swears by what he calls "The Scrub Bubs" and has does some amazing OCD level work with it.

You know that’s a really good point I hadn’t thought of. The dealer I bought my Tahoe from just did some “due slip” work and they had also ordered the spare tire winch and replaced that. Up until then I spare was in the rear tied to a handle in the roof to “secure” it.
Glad it’s where it...
I have barn doors and honestly I love them. The other day I was carrying a heavy ass cooler and I was like.. Oh let me just set it oh the bumper and open one half while it's sitting on the bumper.
Looks really good.
This is considered a "non OE flare" right? All of the OE flares were unpainted?
Asking because I want to get mud guards and they all ask with or without OE flare.
