When I was looking at the bypass w/ out the micro by pass I think I remember that it had to be at the parking brake itself unless you could find the wire leading up into the dash somewhere. But even then, how the new decks are hardwired it still would not work just by grounding it out. There has...
yea they are off a bit I wonder if they could be adjusted from the screws. If not then they would have to be taken out and the shield be adjusted inside the projector.
@dr58dmtp sorry name doesn't ring a bell I'm at a small unit not really attached to the air station here.
Thanks for the info your giving as well. I really appreciate it.
it says 1.75 at the highest setting. Im hoping to go either at that or the notch lower which would be .5 (I'm guessing) until i get them in and read the instructions on them. Then ill add my leveling spacer that i already have now and i should be at the 2.5 I'm wanting. I only hope they don't...

anyone had any luck with these or give any info on the the actual lift they will give?
I will be doing all the work myself minus the alignment. If the shop I do my work at had an alignment machine I would for sure take a crack at it but idt they would be able to afford that kind of stuff. We just got a new 4 point lift so thats nice. I work for the cg and we have an auto hobby...
@dr58dmtp thanks for the reply, its even better that you are from here and can understand the frustration with shipping parts up here. Iv only been here for 2 years now and have been going crazy with this kind of stuff. Its a lot of work to get parts around here. Unfortunately its even harder...
07 LS Tahoe 4x4
So I'm at 98k miles and my front end is starting to take a dump on me. The drive side LBJ is making some noise and looks pretty bad. After doing some looking around it looks like the pass side has more movement than it should and the hub may be making some noise. The drive side...
ill get some measurements on mine tomorrow and get back to you. Im going to try and use it this coming week. Only thing is that i need to racket strap it closed bc the locks on it were trashed. New ones are about 40$ and then i need new hinges as well which are like 10$ each but all the clamps...
iv got the biggest thule carrier they make but have yet to load it up on the Tahoe yet. I think i read somewhere that the factory cross bars will hold up to 250 pounds or something like that. Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
@felixgun i just looked at the album and they do look pretty good on the truck. Can you turn the lights on w/o the accent or do the accents stay on all the time?
im pretty sure you can use different shrouds. As long as the dimensions are the same it will work. If you give the retro fit guys a call they can pretty much set up your whole order for you and make sure you get the right things that fit with each other and fit your vehicle. Good Luck.
@felixgun I looked a lil closer at your first picture and those projectors look a little off to me. IDT they are true projectors, so even if you were to get the HID kit it will still distort the light of them. And to do a true retro kit you will need to cut out the whole area of that projector...
As for the all the guys shittin on these headlights. To each his own. I may not be big into doing things that completely change the look of the vehicles but some things on the vehicles just look awkward to me. The factory heads are coo but just too plain and boring. A retro kit was my first...
im digging it but like I said I would most likely mod the crap out of them for my own perspective. Cut and change the projector and try and change the light bar to amber.
@felixgun what this plasma light, never heard of it? I thought this set up was just some plexi glass formed and had LED...
If I were to get these I would most likely do the retro kit before I installed. I would also be painting the face to match. I would even try and go as far as changing the LED accent to red or amber. They do look pretty sick though, but would really like to see them on the vehicle.
Anyone on here running these. I would like to see what they look like on a Tahoe or Burban?
