I'm just on my phone so audio isn't the best, but it sounds like you need to trim some of the inner fender.
Did you just get larger tires?
If someone hasn't figured it out I'll listen again after work; but that's my guess for now.
Hopefully the Katy Perry CD was alright. Wouldn't want to lose that. :emotions34:
I don't know much about the older Denali's, but can you just replace the nav DVD...or burn a new one?
Why not just plasti dip yours and continue to save for a decent set and some new tires to go with them?
May not be as good looking, but it will fill your need for a little bit.
That way once you're ready you can either peel it off and trade your OEM wheels or just save them for winter wheels.
You may as well just try the stepper motor first. It's one dollar and five minutes of your time.
If it doesn't help then you can go through the pain of dropping the tank and replacing the pump and sender.
The Tahoe doesn't have AWD so that's something you will have to consider.
If you put good enough tires on it the 4WD should work just fine. The Z71 would be really nice offroading.
If it was me I would compare the prices of repairing the Compass vs the Tahoe. Whichever is cheaper go with that...
Is there anything in the track that would stop it from moving?
Maybe a very small child's toy or some kind of string that got wedged into the track to stop it both ways?
I agree with bpcopeland.
Z71 is more so used for offroad. But, if you want to lower then by all means go for it. It's your truck and we can't tell you what to do with it.
I have a 2-3/4 drop kit that I may sell as I want to get lower since it isn't my DD. I won't have it up for sale for...
I spent about three minutes online and found this. Not your exact pic, but just shows that company makes six lug.
Just look online harder and you should find your set somewhere.

Just curious about others trans temp gauge.
I just put a Cadi cluster into my Tahoe and the trans temp never seems to go above the second to last lowest line. I really only drive three or so miles at the most and never go hard on the engine. I figure it won't get much usage only going that far...
